IS|CS Conference 2024
I co-chaired the Intersections | Cross-sections Graduate Student Conference at York University and Toronto Metropolitan University in 2024. I assisted in creating the call for papers, theme (Terms & Conditions: Rethinking Digital Literacy Futures), and online promotion. I also helped secure federal and academic funding, coordinated the venue and catering, secured two keynote speakers, and designed programming.
We organized the in-person conference for March 2024 but out of solidarity to the graduate student strike at York University that happened during this time, we successfully moved the conference to an online format.

The Coterie Blog
During my time as an executive director and President of The Coterie: Western’s Undergraduate English Society from 2021-2023, I contributed to and later managed the student blog as Editor-in-Chief.
Overseeing a team of writers, I put together weekly writing schedules and helped to generate ideas for blog posts. These included interviews with professors, essay writing, and popular book reviews.

The Canadian Glove Museum
From May of 2021 to August of 2022, I was the Museum Coordinator for The Canadian Glove Museum, located at the Point Leamington, NL Superior Glove Works factory. The Canadian Glove Museum is the first museum in Canada all about glove-making and glove history.
I worked with internal teams (e.g., graphic design, construction, interior designers, and management) to design an accessible space and promote it as a free-entry tourism destination. I curated and archived over fifty artifacts (including donated items from David Suzuki and Roberta Bondar), researching and writing storyboards for each, and set up the displays. Furthermore, I gave tours of the museum and the adjoining glove factory.
The museum has been featured in the Toronto Star, CBC News, The Globe and Mail, and more.
